You’re running your own bookkeeping — and you’re doing it. But QuickBooks throws you a curveball, you hit a transaction you’re not sure how to handle, or you wonder if everything is set up correctly. That’s exactly what this is for.
You’re not looking for someone to take over. You want a professional in your corner — someone who can answer your questions, check your work, and make sure things don’t quietly go sideways.
Two things that matter: answers when you have questions, and a professional review to catch what you might have missed.
Basic bookkeeping questions, QuickBooks Online navigation and setup questions, transaction categorization guidance, and general bookkeeping best practices.
Tax advice, tax return preparation, payroll processing, QuickBooks account or backend questions (billing, subscriptions, login issues), accounts payable/receivable management, or full-service monthly accounting. If you need those, our Fundamentals tiers are the right fit.
No tiers. No complexity. Just professional backup support for $125 a month — month to month.
Need more? Our Fundamentals: Collaborate tier includes reconciliations and monthly financials starting at $375/month. See all tiers →
Anything related to basic bookkeeping or QuickBooks Online — how to categorize a specific transaction, why your reconciliation isn’t balancing, how to record a refund, loan payment, or owner draw, chart of accounts questions, and general bookkeeping best practices. Support is limited to 8 questions per month, via email only. Tax advice, payroll questions, and QuickBooks account or backend questions (billing, subscriptions, login issues) are not covered. If your question is outside this scope, we’ll let you know and point you in the right direction.
We aim to respond within one business day for all email support questions.
We review your QuickBooks file each quarter — chart of accounts structure, transaction categorization, bank reconciliation status, and common problem areas. We then deliver a written findings report in plain language: what we found, what it means, and what to fix. You don’t need to prepare anything special — just make sure we have access to your QBO.
No. DIY Support is month-to-month. You can cancel anytime. We do recommend staying through at least one quarterly review to get the full value — but there’s no obligation.
This service is built around QuickBooks Online. If you’re using a different platform, reach out and we’ll let you know if we can support your setup.
Absolutely. Many clients use DIY Support as a starting point and transition to our Fundamentals tiers as their business grows or their bookkeeping becomes more complex. The Financial Clarity Assessment is the starting point for any full-service engagement.
