## How Engagements Start
1. Anyone can book a free Discovery Call (30-45 minutes) — the starting point for every engagement type.
2. For most engagements, a Financial Clarity Assessment follows: a paid diagnostic ($500 flat, credited toward your engagement if you continue) that establishes the right scope and fixed fee. Includes a focused review of your books, a written diagnostic report, an advisory delivery call, and a strategic analysis. Runs seven to ten business days from books access.
3. Every fee is documented in your engagement letter before any work begins. Certain tax, Exit Planning, and clearly defined project engagements can be scoped after the Discovery Call when a separate assessment is not needed.
